Chicago Weekend

We had a fabulous weekend in Chicago to celebrate all the October birthdays in the family. The highlight of the weekend was the cooking class at the Chopping Block where we learned how to make an awesome pork tenderloin, homemade pasta with goat cheese, and a pear tart. We had a great time and Dot was an absolute dream baby the entire weekend!

Bryan used oak beams from his parents old barn to make a crib for Dorothy. He just finished it up this weekend and we were able to set it up in her room yesterday. She seems to really like it although we haven't tried putting her to bed in it just yet.

Stuart, his wife, and baby Sophie are in from Singapore and Bryan, Dot and I got to catch up with them at the farmers market this past Friday.

We had our second wine tasting gathering downtown last night and since all potential babysitters were present at the event, we took Dot with us and passed her around to various family members throughout the evening.
