Election Day
We would like to publicly thank the ACORN gentleman for registering all three of us, as well as for the free cigarettes. However, when we reached our polling place, Jenny was turned away for misspelling her name, my fake beard starting falling off, and Dot knocked over three voting machines, started screaming gibberish about William Howard Taft being a jerk, and was arrested for intoxication. Voting for the second time at a different location proved much more uneventful.

Dot's First Halloween
Our first Halloween with Dot was awesome. It was an absolutely beautiful fall day today, so we were able to sit out on the porch and hand out candy to all the trick or treaters. We had a ton of trick or treaters tonight...we were almost completely out of candy by 5:45pm! Dot and her cousin Eli were definitely the hit of Franklin street tonight in their Star Wars costumes. The costumes were a bit big but at least they will be able to grow into them for next year...
